Make Every Pound Count

Here's what changes in your body when you lose weight and how the right training helps you get real, lasting results.

40%

Up to 40% of weight lost on GLP-1s can come from muscle. Strength training helps ensure what you lose is fat, not the muscle that keeps you strong.

5%

Basal metabolic rate can drop by around 5% during weight loss, making it harder to keep results long-term. Preserving muscle through strength training helps protect against this decline.

20%

Daily activity can decline by up to 20% after starting a GLP-1 medication. The right training approach helps rebuild energy and stamina instead of letting fatigue
take over.

Losing weight is only part of the goal.

That's where the right support makes the difference. Our team includes trainers with specialized NASM training in supporting clients on GLP-1 medications, so your program is
built around real, up-to-date expertise.

Common Questions

For most people, yes, exercise is not only safe but highly recommended alongside GLP-1 treatment. That said, everyone's situation is different, so we always recommend checking with your doctor before starting or changing an exercise routine, and we build your program around what your doctor has cleared you for.

Whether you're on an injectable or an oral GLP-1 medication, it's common to have days where energy or appetite feels different. Our coaches adjust intensity and pacing session to session based on how you're feeling, so you're never pushed through a day that doesn't feel right.

These can matter more while on a GLP-1, especially as appetite and fluid intake shift. We build hydration and recovery guidance into your program, and always encourage you to loop in your doctor on anything related to your specific medication or dosage.

Sessions run for one hour and are held wherever it's most convenient for you, usually right at home. We typically suggest starting with 2-3 sessions a week, though your trainer will help find the right frequency for your goals and schedule.

My biggest fear when starting a GLP-1 medication was losing muscle.

My coach, Chris, and I talked through the best strategy for me since I lacked the motivation on my own to keep working out enough to make sure that didn't happen. He's gently helped me go past what I thought I was capable of — I can actually do push-ups now, and I don't hate them.

It's the small changes you don't notice until one day it hits you: I want to go on a four-mile walk, and nothing hurts, and I'm not winded."
